Food Trip Friday--Tanabata Festives at Izakaya

These are the foods that was served during the Tanabata Matsuri ( you can read my previous post for some of the Japanese culture )and the summer starry night. After enjoying our eyes with lots of dances at the parade, we dine out at Izakaya ( a Japanese restaurant ). Kind a pricey but the food is all worth it, we have privacy at the room ( good for me coz I don' t like to take my ordered food photos when there' s people around me. Don' t get me wrong, there' s nothing wrong about it--it' s just me)
I love the restaurant' s lay-out that is nicely done and sat on a private room and had great food and great service. And oh! On a side note about drinks I would also like to recomend you to try ( well, if you' re an alcohol drinker ) a nama -shibori shochu based( distilled drinks ) And my all-time drinks are grapefruits, kiwi, and lime. Nama means fresh and shibori means squeeze so you have to squeeze the fresh fruit of your choice and mixed them to your shochu based drink.MMMMM!!\(^0^)/

Not included at the photo: Yaki Hokki ( a grilled fish ). Enjoy!!

Baked Teriyaki chicken ( with cheese and nori ( seaweed ) on top ) baguette --I love this the best!! If you' re a fan of teriyaki, you' ll love this, too!! Bite with a crunch and a melty cheezy will follow!!
Nankotsu ( chicken cartilage ) with sauce---our appetizer isn' t complete without this one!!
Ebi Mayonnaise-- Forgive me but this shrimp with mayo sauce is soo sinful!!
Wakaba' s Choco and Banana parfait for dessert

For Food trippers join us here. Chibugan na!!! \(^0^)/

I'm telling you any sinful food is delicious.

Shrimp with mayo.. ehh hehehe..

Di ka ata umakyat sa bundok ng tralala at nakapagblogging ka on Sunday..

Lately di ko feel pumunta sa church because of my laziness, I love sleeping late on Saturday night so pag Sunday tinatamad ako bumangon ng maaga hehehe..

Sa December 1st na ang alis namin Clang, hubby wanted to visit my family before flying back to the States but ako ang umaayaw kasi that means gastos na naman.. I'd rather send the money to my family than spend it to air fare..

Hay buhay! Have a blessed sunday clang!
