Here' s my Friday Food Trip for today---Yakisoba
My family's favorite hang-out is at my husbands friend and restaurant owner and I would proudly say that this is the best yakisoba that I have been tasted all over Fukushima!! This yakisoba will be competing for B-1 Grand Prix Competition next year!! B-1 Grand Prix by the way is a competition for inexpensive and tasty regional dishes all over Japan. And B means ' b-class gourmet '.
In Japan, you often find yakisoba at a street festivals along with takoyaki and of course, you can cook yakisoba right into your home. You can find the noodles at your favorite asian supermarket. Heat your electric hot plate or you can do them with a large skillet, add canola oil, then a lean pork ( in thin slices ),stir fry for awhile, add veggies ( onion, carrots, cabbage, green bellpepper)and mix. Add the noodles, sprinkle a few water while mixing, stir in the sauce and mix to blend. Arrange platter, top with aonori ( seaweed powder ).
It' s convenient to use electric hot plate at home--ready to serve while still hot.
For Food trippers join us here. Chibugan na!!! \(^0^)/
