For The Mean Time...

for the mean time--- ' I' d like to enjoy our summer!! '

I' ve been in and out at Wakaba' s school last week and almost there everyday because of added meeting. Aside from Haruka' s twice a week at pre-school, I also attended the bazaar meeting (again!). We have to set up for whose in charge of setting of the venue, talking about the precautions and safety on cooking at school, flea markets,homemade delicacies,etc. I was in charge at the counter last year ^_^. Plus, since Wakaba will be graduating at kinder next year, parents of the graduating students decided to make a handmade scrap album for the graduates. We started making some lay-outs, each students will be given 2 pages each to write the things they love including their profile, photos or drawings whatever they like to do on their page. I' m not stressed of attending meetings at school, sharing opinions and ideas and talking with some other Mums--it is fun! Bulsa ko lang ang nai-stress kasi palagi kaming lumalabas after the meeting lol! For the mean time, the family is enjoying and my kids,too on their summer vacation!! No more parents meetings for me as of now, please!! \(^0^)/

Wakaba loves her Tita Bambie's Tee!!

Wakaba just had her sleep-over at school last Friday, her last day of school. She was very much worried about her one night sleeping over night alone ( not alone actually, her classmates and teachers were there ). It was her first time to sleep without us parents. After dropping her to school that morning, it took for me awhile from explaining that sleeping overnight with teachers and classmates could be fun but she wouldn' t take away her hands from me! And she leaved me a teary eyes as I walked away. When i picked her up next morning, she was different!! Nanlalaki ang mga mata nya telling me stories how fun she had spent during their whole- day activities plus sleeping overnight at school! ^_^

Haruka

Haruka loves doing her coloring book and fascinated now into drawing. She let me draw sometimes,too--siguro alam nya na magaling akong mag-drawing ng buto ng pakwan, isang butil ng kanin at pag sinipag ako, antS! ( note: merong S dyan lol!) ^_^

Food Trip Friday---Hiyashi Chuka

Hiyashi Chuka

Hiyashi Chuka is a Japanese cold noodles traditionally served during summer in Japan--- a very refreshing dish for summer!! You can find ' chuka men( raw ramen noodles ) ' on your favorite asian market, simply follow the instruction at the package and have some toppings. You can add some fresh tomatoes, cucumber, ham, egg omelet thin strips, dried seaweed strips, and sesame seeds for the toppings. You can also add boiled chicken strips or boiled shrimps if you like. Enjoy!!^_^

Today' s theme--- First steps, first milestones

Being an at-home Mom, I was lucky enough to see Wakaba and Haruka' s milestones!! I have written baby diaries of their milestones in details.Looking at their photos, they look alike when they' re still a baby! I can still remember how they explore their own bodies---now they can explore things, how they roll side to side and then turn over---now they can jump all over, how they began walking by themselves--- now they keep on running without stopping lol!!How time goes by!! \(^0^)/

I Heart Honda 2009--- GW Episode

Challenger class

Last Golden Week Holiday, I have posted our family outings at my MIL' s Sansai Matsuri , and going to Tsuruga-jo Castle and on the climax of our Golden Week Holiday is going to a Honda event called ' I Heart Honda 2009 ' and it' s our second time to join the event wherein Honda lovers gather and experience how fun a day at the tracks can be. Just like what my husband promised when we went to last year' s Honda event, you can read the story here that he' ll be back to race on track day portion.

Before doing the race, all racers cars must do some safety acts like tapings on their head and tail lights or other small parts of the car and some parts inside the engine room to avoid accidents by dropping them off during the race. The staff wil check them on then they will be given a device ( I don' t know what to call them ) to measure the racers time attack in every laps done. The racers are divided into 3 class team--- of course, the expert class , the beginners who wants to drive on their own pace around the track, and the challenger class--and with more experience . My husband joins the challenger class ( he didn' t had some race practice before the big date ) and was complaining that he needs a new S tire for gripping---it' s not that his RE050A didn' t work it' s best, hinde lang cya magaling on tight turns and curves lol!! Don' t tell him I wrote them on lol!! \(^0^)/
For those who love Honda cars and for some car maniacs, this is for you !! ( note: I have to edit some faces and car numbers to avoid legal thingy, sorry! )

We enjoyed our eyes seeing some hot laps, Professional Drivers battles and races at the track, a talk show at the paddock, fun games and prizes and give-aways. It was a lotta fun!!! \(^0^)/

Bibimbab is a mixed up rice, a very healthy and served in a heated stone bowls. After grilling our kalbi meats and vegetables, a bibimbab is always a must eat in our fave yakiniku restaurant!

Mommy Moments

Today' s theme--- Playing Time!!

When we were still living at the bukid of tralala ( that' s what I call it at my In-Laws home--because we' re isolated and no neighbors near us ) Wakaba and Haruka usually plays inside the house or at the backyard. Good thing that their Granny had some sand boxes for them to play outside! After a year and a half of moving out from them ( due to my husbands work ) we' re now living with lots of children around us and they become my daughters playmates. If your'e a reader of Kizuna, you probably have known them here^_^ I usually let them play outdoors with some other kids like most have been played for many years and sometimes they had some scratches after but I think that minor injuries is a part of growing up. That' s why I' m bringing lots of band-aids with me lol!!They' re very active children!!
