Food Trip Friday--- Steak Miya

We went to Steak Miya ( Steakhouse ) after Wakaba's Graduation Ceremony ( will have a separate post for that ). The Ceremony didn't last long but since it's their last day and some of her classmates will be in different school this school opening for next month, they played around, had some bondings and took some photos. We waited for them until they say goodbye to each other. Wakaba and some of her classmates promised to go to Aqua Marine Fukushima during this spring break together with Moms.

---Mixed Grill is best for a starving Mama--chicken, hamburger steak, roast beef, prawn and veggies on the side. All in one!---
---Cut Steak ( 125g)Wazen Set, accompanied with a bowl of white rice, salad, miso soup, etc and a dessert, too! The Japanese style sauce of their steak is one of a kind!---
---dessert in the evening---Eclair filled with custard cream and whipped cream and topped with fruits. Cakes here in Japan is not too sweet and are really a fantasy and I find the filling to be a bit overwhelming. YUM!---

Happy Anniversary to

i love desserts na hindi masyadong matamis.. it's just that pinoys are used to very sweet desserts and delicacies.. minsan, nakakaumay na.. kahit spaghetti, adobo, dinuguan, at iba pang ulam ay tinatamisan.. that's why i love home-cooked meals more than anything..

as much as i can avoid it, ayoko kumain sa mga resto or bumili sa mga stores na puro matamis ang binebentang food.. hayyy, kaya lalong dumadami ang pinoy na may diabetes eh, mahilig tayo sa matamis..

yesterday, was my daughter's 18th month bday. i baked a cake and cupcakes but i reduced the sugar both for the cake and the frosting.. i used fresh fruits instead to add flavor.. kaya kung ang dessert mo na yan sis ay hindi loaded sa sugar, gusto ko yan. yum!

Ooh-la-la! I've been longing to have steak for quite some time now pero it's difficult to find a decent steakhouse here. Willa is right, the father-daughter photo is sweet. Congratulations pala to your darling daughter on her graduation. Lumalaki na sila!

Btw, Clarissa, I posted the gazpacho recipe, just below my FTF post. Sorry it took me ages to finish. Let me know how your gazpacho results, okay?
Happy weekend!

Lots of food here. Not just food but yummy-looking food! Love Japanese food, sis. We went to HotPot Buffet(Japanese food chain) last night and did enjoy (as usual) the sushi and steak, too.
